Had we known about the lack of heat, we would not have booked a room here.Visitors still feel rage about paying resort fees, and while booking websites have done a better job of communicating them, they’re still despised. We booked a room we could not enjoy, could not even sleep comfortably in, because we weren't informed. This lack of heat SHOULD BE CLEARLY DISCLOSED on the room information when booking. To us, having adequate heat is not an amenity but an expectation in civilized overnight accommodations. The front desk told us this is 'their system' and could not be altered. By the time the heat came on (which meant lukewarm air blowing feebly out of the vent) it was late evening. Being in our room outside of bed buried under blankets was chilly to the point of discomfort. We stayed 3 nights and our room got progressively colder each night. In December, with high temps in the low 60's and overnight lows in the low 40's there was NO HEAT available at all in our room until the outside temperature dropped to 50 degrees.

This hotel has a central heating system that cannot be effectively controlled from inside the guest room. If you're comfortable at 60* this hotel is for you! This was the most miserable hotel experience we have had in many years, due to the lack of heat.
